Specialized Care Homes
After entering our home, these children with special needs are given a new opportunity. Each are placed within a Netsanet family. Our managers, nurses and caregivers are trained in special needs care and child development. We seek to create a clean, joyful, and stimulating environment, providing them with the best opportunities to grow and develop.
Essentially, our specialized care homes serve as a permanent residence for these special needs and medically fragile children. This group of our family has a wide variety of medical complications. They may have cerebral palsy, epilepsy, down syndrome, encephalopathy and many other conditions. We provide round-the-clock nursing care, quality medical attention, an individualized education plan, and access to a 24-hour doctor.
Beyond these essential services, our primary aim is to offer these children more than just medical support. We surround them with love, foster a sense of acceptance, and remind them they possess a unique and meaningful purpose.
We now serve approximately 125 children with special needs of which 62 are medically fragile and need care 24 hours a day.
