Netsanet For All!

Suzanne at Netsanet Children's Village - Suzanne is a graduate of Palmer Catholic Academy in Palm Valley FLMany of us have homes, families, and supplies that are necessary for survival. What we don’t always realize is how blessed we are to be able to get these items. One of our PCA graduates, Suzanne Scheuble, was just 11 years old when God informed her on these matters, and the Lord called her to start an orphanage in Ethiopia. Five years later she visited Ethiopia for the first time and realized how important her calling was.

After 37 times of rejection from the Ethiopian government, Suzanne eventually started her mission to help the children of Ethiopia and founded Netsanet Ministries. Currently, she has over 100 kids at her refuge, varying in age from a few days old to almost being an adult. Suzanne’s orphanage also has an amazing staff of 97 hard-working Ethiopians generously giving their time for the kids of this nation. Her immediate family still lives here in America, but she has started her own family with her husband and kids in Ethiopia.

When Suzanne came to Palmer, she taught us to follow God’s calling because He will always have a plan for us. When we follow our dreams and never give up, we can accomplish great things that can also significantly affect others. Suzanne sets a good example of how Christ is always at work and how we can help other people in what we know we love to do. The children in Ethiopia do not always live a good life, but in the Netsanet orphanage, everybody gets a chance for a better future. Thank you to Suzanne for her amazing, inspiring speech she shared with us. Netsanet for us all!
