Special Needs Medical Outreach

Special Needs Medical Outreach

The primary aim of this program is to empower families to raise and learn to care for their children with special needs. Recognizing these children are often at a higher risk of abandonment, our focus is keeping them within their families whenever possible. We address the specific medical needs of the child, i.e. surgical procedures, walkers, wheelchairs, medical equipment, and provide necessary funding. Our goal is to enable families to successfully nurture and support their children.

The process involves an evaluation by our social workers and nurses to assess the family’s situation. Social workers follow a structured format, detailing the family’s needs, qualifications for assistance, income, and any other relevant details. With a collaborative approach, this information guides us in creating an individualized plan for each family.

To ensure clarity and transparency, we establish a specific plan for each family and outline the areas where Netsanet will provide support. This plan is written for the family in a comprehensive contract, ensuring that both parties understand the assistance being offered and received. Direct communication with hospitals is also maintained to address billing, service needs, and any other pertinent matters. Our commitment is to provide holistic support, recognizing the individual needs of each family in the program.
